Twistrike vs Wrist Roller vs Grip Trainers: Which Builds Fight Endurance?

All three tools work your grip and forearms. The difference is where and how, and for boxing, where matters.

Hand grippers

Great for crushing strength and cheap to carry around. They work one hand at a time, at a fixed strength per gripper, and with your arms relaxed by your sides. They don't train holding your hands up.

Wrist rollers

Excellent for forearm size and wrist strength. Most people use them with arms extended at chest height, which does involve the shoulders, but the movement is slow and the load is limited by the weight you hang.

Rotating trainers like Twistrike

You hold it at guard height and spin both handles continuously against adjustable resistance. That combines grip, forearms and the shoulder endurance needed to keep your guard up, in a format that maps directly onto a 3-minute round.

Which should you choose?

If you want raw crushing strength, use grippers. If you want forearm size, add a wrist roller. If your problem is your hands dropping in late rounds, train the position you fight in. That's what the Twistrike is built for.
